Types of mesothelium

Types of  mesothelium
Mesothelioma is a rare form of cancer that malignant cells are found in the lining of the chest or Abdomen. This is deadly disease that can cause abnormal growth and division of mesothelium cells by invading and damaging the adjusting tissue and organs. This cancer cells can also spread from their original location in to other parts of the body

There are three types of mesothelium. 
  • Pleural mesothelium
  • Peritoneal mesothelium
  • Pericardial mesothelium
Also we can find 
  • Tunica vaginalis testis is the mesothelium that encloses the internal reproductive organs in males.
  • Tunica serosa uteri is the mesothelium that encloses the internal reproductive organs in females.
Pleural mesothelium is caused in the line of the lung known as pleura. Peritoneal mesothelium occurs in the line of the abdominal cavity known as peritoneum. Pericardial mesothelium originates in pericardium, in the lines of heart.
